is it better to cut or heat a corolla springs

neither.

its a corolla, cut anything on it and u will end up in the bush

Not advisable, but if you're going to do it anyway, don't use heat, it will screw up the tensile strength of the spring making it weaker.

Hacksaw or grinder is okay to do the cutting.

Lowering springs are cheap though, get them.

Boy cut, heat, purchase lowering springs, all is the same dam shait if you dont have your shocks adjusted!

I used slightly cut lowering springs (one coil) with new shocks an the ride is good. in a toyota sedan. no touchin an got the desired wheel close to fender look.. check the greddy family in birchgrove make dem give u a proper work.
Im so JDM I sleep on the right side of the bed!

hey guys, don't think about cutting springs " lowering springs or cut and retread the shock pole would the trick"

the thing with heating and compressing the spring........depends on how firm u want it....it was successfully done and got lil hope.....and its a long process to go through to get the right rate u want.......i'll say better buy adjustabe coil springs worked very amazing for my application....u just have to get the right type
